These eight shots crystallize the hard work moms put into keeping their kids alive, happy, and healthy. They might give you the inspiration you need for filling out that card—or stand alone for your mom’s interpretation.

For those of us who want to say thank you to our moms, it’s not always easy to put those big feelings in words. Which is where Dribble comes in.

Call mom

Moms are the ones who bandage our boo-boos when we’re little and continue to take care of us as we get older—often sacrificing their own needs so they can help with ours. Cruising on a bike to help heal our injuries is the most mom thing one can do.

They’re the ones we rely on for playdates and emotional support, homework help and babysitting. Moms are the ultimate dependable support. Like, hopefully, the button on your jeans.

Moms are like…buttons? Moms are like glue. Moms are like pizza crusts. Moms are the ones who make sure things happen—from birth to school lunch.

Here come the moms in space

My hero when I was a kid was my mom. Same for everyone I knew. Moms are untouchable. They’re elegant, smart, beautiful, kind…everything we want to be. At 29 years old, my favorite compliment is being told that I look like my mom. Seeing myself in her image, like this daughter up top, makes me so proud of how far I’ve come, and so thankful for where I come from.

Moms on the move

Drawn for an insurance company, this animation of a mom with a first-aid kit and a flashing red light exemplifies the mother’s job.

Unordered list style?

  • The refractor telescope uses a convex lens to focus the light on the eyepiece.
  • The reflector telescope has a concave lens which means it bends in. It uses mirrors to focus the image that you eventually see.
  • Collimation is a term for how well tuned the telescope is to give you a good clear image of what you are looking at. You want your telescope to have good collimation so you are not getting a false image of the celestial body.
  • Aperture is a fancy word for how big the lens of your telescope is. But it’s an important word because the aperture of the lens is the key to how powerful your telescope is. Magnification has nothing to do with it, its all in the aperture.
  • Focuser is the housing that keeps the eyepiece of the telescope, or what you will look through, in place. The focuser has to be stable and in good repair for you to have an image you can rely on.
  • Mount and Wedge. Both of these terms refer to the tripod your telescope sits on. The mount is the actual tripod and the wedge is the device that lets you attach the telescope to the mount.

This is just another attempt by Tesla to make their cars seem more advanced than they really are. They’re just trying to hype up their products and charge more for them.

So, Tesla is rewiring their cars because the old wiring was too good? I guess that’s one way to justify raising the price.

  • James Rodriguez, 3월 27, 2021 @ 5:42 오후 Reply

I can’t wait to see what kind of crazy features Tesla will add to their cars with this new wiring system. Maybe they’ll add a built-in hot tub or a self-driving lawn mower?

  • Jessica Lopez, 7월 10, 2021 @ 7:35 오후 Reply

I think this is a waste of time and money. Tesla should be focusing on making their cars more affordable and accessible. This new wiring system is just going to make them even more exclusive.

  • Mike Jones, 7월 18, 2021 @ 5:20 오후 Reply

This is amazing! I can’t wait to see how this works in practice. It would be great if they could also integrate a built-in coffee maker and a toaster. Tesla is really thinking outside the box!

This is just another way for Tesla to make more money. They’re always coming up with new ways to squeeze more cash out of their customers. It’s all about profit for them.

I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. On one hand, it could make the cars more reliable. On the other hand, it could also make them more expensive. I’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out.

  • John Smith, 3월 22, 2023 @ 9:07 오후 Reply

The article mentions that this new wiring system will be more efficient and reliable. I’m curious to see how it compares to traditional systems.

  • Chris Jackson, 6월 15, 2023 @ 10:54 오전 Reply

I think this is a great idea. Tesla is always innovating and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. I’m excited to see what they come up with next.

  • Mary Brown, 10월 16, 2023 @ 12:15 오전 Reply

I don’t understand why Tesla would bother with this. They’re already the best in the business. It’s just another way to make their cars even more expensive. I’m sticking with my gas-powered car.

  • Sarah Lee, 11월 2, 2023 @ 5:27 오전 Reply

So, Tesla wants to wire their cars differently. Big deal. I mean, it’s not like it’s a revolutionary invention or anything. Just another way to make their cars more expensive.

  • David Wilson, 12월 22, 2023 @ 8:51 오전 Reply

So, Tesla’s wiring is so bad that they need to invent a new way to wire their cars? Hilarious. I guess it’s better than having a car that spontaneously combusts.

  • Emily Garcia, 3월 8, 2024 @ 1:13 오후 Reply

This is just another example of Tesla’s hubris. They think they can do everything better than everyone else. They’re going to end up biting off more than they can chew.

  • Robert Davis, 3월 23, 2024 @ 10:37 오전 Reply

I’m a bit skeptical about this new wiring system. It sounds like it could be complicated and expensive to implement. I’m not sure if it’s really necessary.
